Death of a Polish citizen abroad

Our funeral home organises transportation and funeral services for Polish citizens, who died abroad.

Our experiences staff will attend to all formalities and documentation. We will help you obtain the special Polish permit — the so called "zezwolenia na sprowadzenie ciała z zagranicy."

Repatriation of a body or ashes from Germany

If your loved one died in Germany, but you would like him to be buried in Poland, we are at your service.

Entrust our experience staff to organise the transportation and we will obtain the appropriate paperwork.

We will organise the transport of the deceased from Germany back to Poland promptly and with due diligence.

You will need two documents, that will confirm the person's death:

1) Confirmation of death can be obtained directly from the hospital.
2) The death certificate can be collected at a local civil registry office — Standesamt.

Repatriation of a body or ashes from the United Kingdom

If your loved one died in the United Kingdom, but expressed a wish to be buried in Poland, we are ready to provide provide the assistance necessary.

We would like to kindly inform you, that with the accordance with the English law, you must register the death within 5 days.

Any death that happens in Scotland must be registered within 8 days.

In both cased, you must do so at your local Register Office.

In order to do so, you would need to provide a medical certificate of the cause of death signed by a doctor.

If the family lives in the UK, they can get a medical certificate from a GP or hospital doctor.
